Introduction :

The stylish, well rounded compact crossover SUV- Sportage was initially introduced in 1993 by South Korean automaker KIA. The first generation KIA Sportage was developed with the Mazda Bongo engineering base platform and shared many mechanical components with Mazda lineup. In 2011 the third generation Sportage was introduced which uses the same engine used in Hyundai Sonata 2.0T. With the revamped exterior and styling it got the mid-generational refresh. The second generation Sportage was cost effective but could not thrive with much efficiency.
