Introduction:


Confidence is not just a conduct of power but comes with a blend of knowledge and functionality. The power to innovate lies deep within the spirit of this distinguished SUV car maker, Land Rover. The company is out with its another innovation titled as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The car is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by the British manufacturer since July 2011. The car comes in three and five-door body-styles along with 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive driving characteristics. The car is particularly designed to display an unrivaled sporty performance with a stylish and elegant exterior design.

Engine, mileage and variants:


The desirable SUV comes in 4 variants namely – the Pure variant, Dynamic variant, Prestige variant and Autobiography variant for the 3-door and 5-door body styles. With this you can choose between the well-established engine range including the 2.2-litre TD4 and SD4 turbodiesel engine and the 2.0 litre Si4 petrol engine. The most dynamic engine of the car is the perfectly-engineered 2.2-litre 4-cylinder engine that squeezes out a maximum torque output of 190PS at 3500 rpm and a maximum torque output of 420Nm at 1750 rpm. This refined power-mill mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that owing to its butter-smooth gear transitions gives the car a capability to attain 100km/h of speed from naught in 8.5 seconds. This engine promises you a high fuel economy by consuming only 6.5 litres of fuel to travel 100km.

Exteriors:


The graciousness with which the robust design of the car is displayed is worth a lot of praise, thanks to the exterior designers. The car features a plane and elegant bonnet design with the “Range Rover” imprinted on it, the soul signature matrix grille integrated with Bright Chrome ribs, dazzling Xenon headlamps with LED lighting and a well-tweaked and masculine front bumper, which fetches a commanding front impression for the SUV. Contributing towards the sport identity of the SUV, it features a revolutionary lightweight construction and sporty hints like the rear spoiler, stylish and dazzling rear lamps and the uplifted and wide rear bumper design. The three classic lines with gloss black pillars unmistakably indicate the real spirit of the car. The another worth mentioning feature of the car is its exclusive, uniquely designed wheel range, the car comes in many spectacular wheel designs which ranges from 19 to 20 inches. The pumped-up SUV hints its capabilities in its exterior dimensions, that reads – 4355mm x 1965mm x 1605mm (L x W x H) and a wheelbase of 2660mm for the 5-door model. The off-road capabilities of the car are hinted by its high ground clearance of 215mm for front axle and a wading depth of 500mm.

Interiors:


Dive into the ultra-comfortable and soul intuitive interiors of the car and feel the pleasure gifted to you by the car. The car confidently flaunts the distinctively designed driver's cabin with the attributes like the full TFT/LCD instrument cluster, heated leather and wooden trim covered 4-spoke multifunctional steering wheel which is power adjustable, 'Say What You See' intuitive voice control and Hard Disc Drive navigation system. The car lets you feel the solemnly perceptible essence of relaxation with the large semi-aniline leather executive class seats compatible with 8-way power adjustable massage front seats, climate controlled front and rear seats and the rear seats with power recline and massage lumbar functions. All this luxury is accentuated by the capacious head and leg space of the car along with an ample cargo space to carry your luggage.

Safety, braking and miscellaneous:


To make you feel the real essence of a responsive dynamism, the SUV gives you a sense of safety by enclosing you in a cozy envelop of safety features. This envelop comprises of the braking assists like the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Electronic Brake-force distribution and the Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and the stability assists like the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electronic Traction Control (ETC) with available Terrain Response system, Hill Descent Control and Roll Stability Control. The other safety features encased to the car are front and rear parking assists, Active Speed Limiter (ASL), perimetric alarm with engine immobilisation, reverse traffic detection with blind spot monitoring and Isofix system.

Verdict:


The pumped-up SUV proves to be a faithful butler of its master in every adventure owing to its purely efficient performance, competitive off-road capabilities, comfortable and supportive interiors and sophisticated and elegant styling. However, the power values are kept low than its siblings, which may or may not appeal you.
