Overview:


Nissan the Japanese automobile manufacturer known for producing world class automobiles has been up with innovations ever since its stance. Manufacturing around in 20 different countries and still expanding its scale with services and products to be offered with a count of more than 160 countries. One vehicle that has stood by Nissan in defining its brand value is the gigantic SUV Patrol. The Nissan Patrol comes equipped with one Petrol and two diesel engines on offer. It is a four wheel drive vehicle competing well in the errand of automobiles in the area of spacious SUVs. The huge Petrol unit is powered by a 4800 Twincam 24 valve gasoline engine which is capable enough to churn out a total of 206 kW of peak power @ 4800rpm along with a maximum torque of 451 Nm at 3600 rpm. Whereas, the other two diesel engines on offer produce 126 kW of power at 3600 rpm for the ZD30DDTi engine while power comes down to 99 kW at 4000 rpm for the smaller TD42 diesel engine. The torque figures however remains at 392 Nm at 2000 rpm (ZD30DDTi) and 280 Nm at 2000 rpm (TD42) respectively. With commendable luxury stand the interiors are lavishly designed with modern 7 seating leather upholstery and innumerable interior features extending from a range of storage features like cupholders, luggage net etc. The voluminous luggage capacity adds to its majestic grace. From optional 7 speaker audio system to multi screen DVD entertainment system is available in higher variants. The safety and brakes are congregated well to work for protection with features like dual front and side airbags,ABS, EBD,BA enabled braking system and the zone body designed so as to work as crushable zones for safer modes.

Mileage and Fuel economy:


The 4800 Twincam 24 valve petrol unit of this huge SUV is quite fuel thirsty which is evident owing to its huge dimensions and body weight. However, the efficient fuel management system of the Patrol works quite well in offering decent mileage for its segment. The Patrol can run a total of 100 kms consuming 16.7 litres of fuel. However, the mileage figures do improve considerably for its Diesel engines which goes upto consuming only 12 litres of fuel to run a total of 100 kms.

Power:


The unprecedented power generated in this humongous SUV is quite impressive. With One petrol and two diesel engines on offer, Patrol has everything for its buyers. Acceleration & Pickup:


With the petrol variant to show forth its prowess with a 5 speed automatic transmission, Patrol accelerates from 0 to 100 Km/h mark in about 10.8 sec which is very impressive considering its huge size and dimensions.

Exterior:


The sporty look built for rugged all terrain drive, Patrol conquers the mind with noticeable looks. Its simple yet elegant design speaks for itself with a huge front bonnet and impressive front grille that hols up the Nissan logo. The front spoiler ads to the sporty appeal along with the spare tire cover that makes it live for the grand. Along with this, the system is assisted by a 2 GB music box to store additional music and entertainment files.

Wheels:


The modern, ingenuous SUV stands tall on the 17” alloy wheels with a tire size of 275/65 R17. The 5 spoke alloy wheel design offers more rugged look to this mammoth SUV.

Braking and Handling:


The control safety system has to be ferocious in order to take hold of this magnificent yet huge SUV and Nissan has done justice to this SUV.
