Bajaj Reveals RE-60 At Ceylon Motor Show Sri Lanka In 2015

COLOMBO: Bajaj introduced its four wheeler RE–60 at Ceylon Motor Show 2015, the event was recently held in Colombo at BMICH. Where visitor have a chance to have a test drive of Bajaj RE – 60. It is manufactured using a robust, monocoque metal-polymer hybrid structure, so that it can be used as a four wheeled mini taxi which weighs 400 kg.

Bajaj RE–60 contains tri-spark 216cc engine, 4 valve, water cooled and fuel efficiency of 35 kmpl which can hit top speed of 70 kmph. The main features are its compact and lightweight structure, low carbon emission (60 Gm/Km) and easy drivability.

Rakesh Sharma, President of International Business for Bajaj Auto Ltd. says that the RE-60 is a next generation 4-wheeler that innovatively combines modern technology with purposeful vehicle design. The company claims to have received positive feedback from the audience. The Bajaj RE-60 can be a good alternative to the three wheeler auto rickshaws those ply the roads of the country.
