Goodwood FoS is to Witness The Launch of VW XL Sport And GOLF R400

COLOMBO: Volkswagen is planning to charm the public by its best model till now, at Goodwood Festival of speed. One of the most astonishing car will be the Golf R400, which was shown at Shangai Auto Show of 2014. The power-packed Golf R will be equipped with an engine, which can exhale 400 horse power.

The other car of this brand will be the XL sport, this coupe utilises a motor bike engine, that is taken from the most popular motorcycle brand, the Ducati. This Ducati two-cylinder engine V2 is able to produce 200PS and hit the top speed of 168 mph.

Next is the Polo R WRC, this car has already won the World Rally Championship last year and also the driver championships. This Volkswagen beast is a purely made for the excruciating tracks of Rallies.

Finally, the concept of Sport Coupe GTE, which has recently made its debut in Geneva Motor Show. It is a Hybrid car, combining with a TSI petrol engine along with two electric motors.

The most exciting part of all is XL Sport, which is made from super- lightweight materials and one of the best design made by Volkswagen ever. The doors opening style is different from the normal car and front of the car give a fresh and sporty feeling.

This is a very exciting news for auto enthusiasts all over the world, including Sri Lanka.
